Personal Certification
The Privacy Verified certification program consists of three different certifications. There is a suitable certification for every professional.
Professional (PV/P)
The Professional program is the most accessible program. This is the certification to start with and to show what practical knowledge you have in-house. During the Professional program, the most common privacy issues are tested and you demonstrate that, in addition to theoretical knowledge, you can also deal with practical situations in a solution-oriented way.
Senior Professional (PV/SP)
The Senior Professional program is suitable if you, as a specialist with a good dose of experience, want to continue to develop. During the Senior Professional program, specialist and complex situations are presented in which you have to look for a pragmatic and practical solution.
Auditor (PV/A)
The Auditor program is suitable if you want to develop and implement privacy compliance processes completely independently. During this program the focus is on being able to fully and practically test organisations, processes and products. If you obtain the Auditor certificate, you are authorized to inspect organizations on the basis of the Privacy Verified standards framework.

The practical exam will consist of 100 questions, of which 40 questions relate to a case. At least 70% of the 60 theory questions must be correct and at least 30 of the 40 case questions must be correct. The exam lasts 1.5 hours.
It may happen that due to circumstances you do not pass the exam, [in that case you have the option to retake the exam once.]
If you are unable to take the exam, please let us know well in advance, at least 24 hours in advance.
In practice, Privacy Verified sees that the employer generally pays for this certificate because it sees the added value if its employees are in possession of the Privacy Verified certificate, but you will have to coordinate this with your employer.
The CIPP/E is more of a theoretical certificate, while Privacy Verified is more of an assessment of practical knowledge. The Privacy Verified certificate is tested on the basis of standards frameworks that are specifically aimed at applied knowledge in practice. This distinguishes our certificate essentially from the CIPP/E certificate and is therefore an indispensable addition.
